Hello,
Well here is the update on how Courtney's clinic went. Her weight is 36.4 lbs so she has gained a 1/2 lb in 2.5 months and her height is 40.25 inches so she only grew a 1/2 a inch. Dr.James told her if she could gain to pounds by March 3rd she would get a Walmart gift card. Let's see if that works. Courtney eats and eats but doesn't seem to gain. She is still on the same meds with no adjustments. She was satting at 97% which I guess I am ok with. So over all Dr.James was pleased with her. Also she had to have a throat culture done today and I think we all were proud of her but mostly David and Marsha she sat up and did it like a big girl with just a lil fuss but who wouldn't. I know I don't like those things down my throat... From what Dr.James was saying about the cure is it's a pill and it should fix the lungs. So don't know if that means are kids will still be on enzymes or not. And if there is already damange to the lungs that would not be able to be corrected by the pill. The parent night is at the end of March or the begining of April. I hope it's either the end of March of a few weeks into April since I won't be able to attend if it's the first week of April.
